Ausdrucksform und Technik der Schattenrisse beruhen auf einer alten  Tradition, die im Wesentlichen aus  Indonesien und Indien stammt. Bei meinen Arbeiten handelt sich um die künstlerische Transformation einer Figur in den Umriss einer Fläche, die im Spiel von Licht und Schatten wieder Figur zu werden vermag. Im Tanz der Figuren zeigt sich die feine und rätselhafte Metapher des Lichtes als Medium der Wandlung und Entdeckung.
The form of expression and technique of silhouettes are based on an old tradition, especially in Indonesia and India. It is an artistic transformation of a figure into the outline of a surface, which becomes a figure again in the play of light and shadow. The dance of the figures reveals the subtle and enigmatic metaphor of light as a medium of transformation and discovery.
A sziluettek képi világa és technikája régi hagyományokon alapul, amelyek különösen Indonéziából és Indiából erednek. Ezekben a munkáimban a célom az alakzatok művészi átalakítása egyes felületek körvonalává, amelyek a fény és árnyék játékában újjá születnek. Az alakok tánca a fénynek, mint az átalakulás és a felfedezés médiumának, finom és rejtélyes metaforáját tárja fel.
